1. Who we are
Palmer Edge Marketing FZCO, based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, operates this website and provides paid advertising, conversion and business growth consulting services. The website is also associated with the Leon Palmer Agency name.
In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Palmer Edge Marketing FZCO. For information we collect for our own business purposes, we determine why and how it is used and act as the data controller.
Our privacy contact is [email protected]. Please use the subject “Privacy request” so we can identify your enquiry.
2. What this policy covers
This policy covers personal information relating to website visitors, prospective clients, client contacts, suppliers and people who communicate with us. It applies to this website, our enquiry and booking process, and our own business communications.
When a client gives us access to its customer, lead or advertising data so we can deliver services on its instructions, the client normally determines the purpose of that processing. The client’s privacy notice and our agreement with that client govern that work. This policy does not replace a client’s notice to its customers or a supplier’s own privacy policy.
3. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Contact details: your name, email address, telephone number, business name and job role.
- Enquiry details: your business type, the help you are seeking, approximate monthly revenue and selected currency, website address, and anything else you choose to tell us.
- Booking details: the appointment you select, your time zone, scheduling preferences and changes or cancellations.
- Business communications: messages, proposals, agreed service terms, project materials, feedback and correspondence.
- Client and supplier administration: billing and transaction records, account contact details and information needed to provide or receive services. If a payment provider is used, it may collect payment credentials directly under its own terms.
Information collected through use of the website
Our hosting and tracking services may receive technical information such as IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, timestamps, session or cookie identifiers and form interactions. This helps operate the site, understand enquiries and connect a form submission with its source.
Information from other sources
We may receive relevant business contact information from referrals, public business websites, social media profiles, or systems you or your organisation authorise us to access. The information we use depends on the purpose of our relationship with you.
Please do not include identity documents, passwords, payment card details, medical information or other sensitive personal information in a general website enquiry. If a project requires sensitive information, arrangements for that information should be agreed separately.
4. How we use information
- Respond to enquiries and assess whether our services are suitable for your business.
- Create and maintain contact records, arrange calls, send booking confirmations and reminders, and manage rescheduling or cancellations.
- Prepare proposals, deliver agreed services and communicate about work, accounts and invoices.
- Review performance, attribution and conversion information where that is part of an authorised client engagement.
- Operate, maintain and improve our website and enquiry process, diagnose errors, and protect systems against misuse.
- Send relevant marketing communications where permitted and subject to your preferences.
- Meet applicable legal obligations, keep necessary business records, and establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
A booking confirmation or appointment reminder is a service message. Submitting an enquiry or booking a call does not, by itself, mean you have agreed to receive an unrelated marketing newsletter.
5. Grounds for processing
The grounds available for processing depend on the law that applies to you and to the activity. Where consent is required, we rely on consent. Other grounds may include taking steps you request before a contract, performing a contract, complying with a legal obligation, or establishing or defending legal rights.
Where applicable law permits reliance on legitimate interests, we may use that ground for proportionate activities such as administering business relationships, securing systems and improving services, taking account of your interests and rights.
You can withdraw consent by contacting us. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal, or processing that may continue on another lawful ground. We do not treat your acceptance of this policy as blanket consent to every possible use of your information.
6. Enquiries and bookings
Our website uses GoHighLevel / LeadConnector for contact management and appointment booking. Information submitted through the enquiry form is intended to be saved in our HighLevel contact record. Contact details may be passed into the booking calendar so you do not have to enter them again.
Our booking arrangements use Google Calendar to manage availability and calendar events, and Zoom to provide online meeting links. Relevant appointment and contact details may be processed by those services and included in confirmations, calendar invitations and reminders.
If a meeting is to be recorded or transcribed, we will make that clear and obtain consent where required. Booking a call alone is not consent to an undisclosed recording.
7. Cookies and tracking
Cookies and similar technologies can store information on your device or identify a browser session. The site’s hosting and embedded services may use them for essential functions, security, remembering information and managing booking interactions.
We also use HighLevel’s website and external-form tracking capabilities to help connect enquiries to website activity and referral sources. These capabilities may process technical identifiers, page visits and information submitted through forms.
Where non-essential cookies or similar tracking require consent under applicable law, that consent must be obtained before those technologies are used. This privacy policy does not substitute for a required cookie consent choice.
You can review, delete or block cookies through your browser settings and use any consent controls made available on the site. Blocking necessary storage may affect booking, remembered details or other functions. Browser settings do not necessarily stop all server-side processing.
8. Who receives information
Information may be shared as needed for the purposes described in this policy with:
- Service providers: website hosting, media storage, CRM, email delivery, scheduling, meeting, communications and IT providers. These include HighLevel / LeadConnector, Google and Zoom for the functions described above, and other providers used for an engagement.
- Authorised people working with us: team members or contractors who need access to perform agreed work.
- Client-selected platforms: advertising, analytics and attribution providers, including Meta and HYROS, where access and processing are part of an authorised engagement. A HYROS subscription is separate from our services.
- Professional advisers and authorities: accountants, legal advisers, regulators or other parties where disclosure is necessary for legal obligations, advice or protection of rights.
- A business successor: where necessary in connection with a merger, reorganisation or transfer of the business, subject to applicable safeguards and legal requirements.
We limit disclosure to what is relevant for the purpose. Some providers act on our instructions; others may act as independent controllers for their own service, security or legal purposes. Their privacy notices explain those activities.
9. AI-assisted work
Our services may use AI-assisted tools to organise client knowledge, research, draft content and advertising, analyse performance information and support our decisions. Depending on the engagement, business information or project materials may be processed by external AI providers.
Personal information in project materials remains personal information when processed by an AI tool. Its use must be relevant to the work, consistent with our authority to process it, and subject to applicable law, supplier terms and any agreed client restrictions.
Where practical, we use aggregated information or remove unnecessary personal identifiers. Please tell us about confidentiality, personal-data or tool-use restrictions before sharing materials for an engagement. We do not use the website enquiry process to make automated decisions about your legal rights or similarly significant matters without human involvement.
10. International transfers
We are based in the UAE, and our service providers may operate or store information in other countries. Information may therefore be accessed or processed outside the country where you live.
Where applicable law restricts an international transfer, we must use an available lawful transfer mechanism and any required safeguards. Depending on the circumstances, this may involve contractual protections, a recognised adequacy arrangement, consent where valid, or another permitted basis. You can contact us for information about safeguards relevant to your information.
11. Retention and security
How long information is kept
We retain information for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected, including managing enquiries and client relationships, meeting legal and record-keeping obligations, and resolving disputes.
The appropriate period depends on the information, the relationship, applicable requirements and whether there is an ongoing need to keep it. Information that is no longer needed should be deleted or anonymised. Backups and provider systems may retain copies for their normal recovery or legal retention periods.
Protecting information
We use reasonable organisational and technical measures intended to reduce the risk of unauthorised access, loss, alteration or disclosure. No website, email or online storage system can guarantee absolute security. If a personal-data incident occurs, we will assess it and make notifications where applicable law requires them.
12. Your choices and rights
Depending on applicable law and the circumstances, you may have rights to:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you and request access to it.
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Request deletion, restriction or cessation of processing.
- Object to certain processing, including direct marketing.
- Withdraw consent where processing depends on consent.
- Receive or transfer information in a portable form where the right applies.
- Raise concerns about automated processing or complain to the relevant data protection authority.
To make a request, email [email protected]. Describe your request and the email address or relationship it concerns. We may need proportionate information to verify your identity and protect information from disclosure to someone else. We will respond within the period required by applicable law.
Rights are not absolute. Legal obligations, the rights of others and permitted exceptions may affect what we can do. If we cannot fulfil a request, we will explain the relevant reason where required. Where we process information on a client’s instructions, we may refer your request to that client.
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the unsubscribe method in the message or contact us directly. Necessary messages about an active booking, contract or legal obligation may continue.
13. Children
Our website and services are directed at adults acting for businesses. They are not intended for children, and we do not knowingly seek personal information from children through the website. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
14. Other websites and affiliate links
The website may link to other sites or services. Their operators are responsible for their own privacy practices. Read their policies before providing information to them.
Some links, including our HYROS link, are affiliate links. If you follow one and make a qualifying purchase, we may receive a commission. The destination may use referral identifiers or cookies to attribute that purchase. Following an affiliate link does not mean that the third-party software is supplied or included in our services.
15. Changes and contact
We may update this policy when our services, processing practices or relevant requirements change. The date at the top identifies the latest version. Where required, we will provide additional notice of material changes or obtain fresh consent.
